does anyone that have limewire or a computer know how to remove a firewall?

You dont remove it, just turn it off while usine limewire, then turn it back on.

you can turn it off. the firewall that is blocking your limewire connection is either that of the windows which is found in the control pannel\security center\firewall {turn it off} or maybe you have an anti virus software which have a firwall in it. so check the antisoftware too. i don't think that it's because of the firewall of the windows because mine is turned on and limewire works

Limewire and most other file sharing programs are STEALING copyrighted files.
When did that become OK?
If you stole from a store, you would be arrested.
Why is downloading different?
Do you work for free?
Why should anyone else?

You can either switch it off while you use Limewire and then switch it back again or if you really want to get rid of it, uninstall it from Control Panel -> Add Remove programs.

first limeware has its own problems, but you should never disable your firewall.
you can allow limewire to work with your firewall tho if thats causing a problem with its access

on windows you click 1 start, 2 settings, 3 control panel, 4security and 5 firewall. 7then turn it off. the firewall prevents outside access to many outside users trying to take ovewr your computer. if you turn it off, you need to turn it back on before going on the net to stop hackers from hijacking your system. it's an important security feature and it isn't a good idea to disable it for long, and definitely not permanently.

You never remove your firewall.

You ask your firewall to unblock limewire.

Go to control panel/security center/windows firewall/exceptions

Click on "add program" and click on limewire
Once it is added, tick the box next to it.
And that is it.
