Just to put your mind at ease, make an appointment with your doctor for a checkup.
Now, I'll put your mind at ease a little. Breast tissue is bumpy. Some more so than others. A self-breast exam done regularly will help you understand how those bumps should feel in your own breast and if one should come up that feels different/larger/painful than the others, then it's time to be concerned.
Since you have a family history of breast cancer, keep getting your regular checkups. Right now though, I bet you're fine. Try not to worry yourself into sickness, ok? Take care.

ok if you notticed the bumps when u were 12 and now you are 15 and if they are still about the same size then dont worry cuz its not cancer so go ahead and jump on ur bed get happy u know do a little dance or something. now if they have grown or if u are starting to nottice more of them that might be questionable female breasts arnt perfectly smooth and soft they all have some bumps and knots which is perfectly normal. as far as nipples go if you have been panicking a lot and thinking about breast cancer u will find more and more reasons in urself to belive that u have it and ur only 15 so all i can say is you probably dont have it but they start to hurt more or if the bumps get bigger get it checked out. :) and once agian dont stress urself too much technology has grown since ur grandma's days today its nothing the survival rate are close to 100%.

Please go and see a doctor right away. It is possible for young people to get cancer, and if you do have it the sooner that treatment starts the better the outcome. Most likely your bumps are from something else, and a visit to the doctor will give you peace of mind from your worries. Either way, visiting a doctor soon is in your best interest.

well lumpy breasts can just mean that you have alot of fibroids. they arent necessarily cancerous, and sore nipples is not necessarily a sign of cancer. fibroids are very common in young women. dont be scared. but you should tell someone or schedule an appointment with the gynecologist. they will do a breast exam on you. if necessary, they may even refer you to a breast specialist. since there is breast cancer in your family, you should definitely have it checked out. bumps (fibroids) are usually benign (not cancerous). i have a lump in my breast thats been there for years. its not cancerous, but i go to the dr. yearly and have it checked out to make sure it doesnt grow in size or change in shape. go to the dr. with someone you trust and feel comfortable with. everything will be ok. you will feel better by going and finding out exactly whats going on. then you wont have to guess whats wrong. early detection can only help you.
