never trust logic and reason alone, there is no cap on reasonablity, only on your ablity to use it. You have been givein two things to think with your brain and your heart, and any reasonable person would know this

well, everything happens for a reason and a purpose, and every action or consequence behind that action taking place is for a reason. therefore, it is only fair to judge or come up with reasons and excuses as to why we make the decisions in our lives and what are the reasons or influences behind those same decisions. otherwise, if a decision, dillemma, problem or situation didn't have some sort of reason or significance underlying it, then unfortunately they'd be a case where we'd realise for ourselves that things happen without logic, and without logic it would be of insignificance and lacking in any actual meaning and understanding to us. in other words, it'll be deemed as either trivial or it has no bearing at most

You have to take a real decision when you are losing on both choices. Otherwise, you just evaluate each benefits and negative points on both sides and the choice will be easy. Otherwise, as mentionned before, you have to take a real decision and this is hard.
I forgot which thinker had an opinion on the "real" decision making.

Yes, too much reasoning leads to what is called 'analysis paralysis' meaning decisions do not get taken well on time.
Decision involves a judgement relating to the future, which requires something more than logic ....... we may call it foresight or forethought.

It's good to go with your 'gut reaction' but, in my experiance, a little reason goes a long way.

"The mind is not for thinking, the mind is for receiving thought." Your life curcumstances are determined by the thoughts you choose to accept as yours. Ask your heart questions, follow your heart.
