why is red hair in movies and on tv always connected with the meen evil arrogant brat?????????

Lol. I guess most people don't find red hair attractive. If they are evil brats, they are usually potrayed as nerds or geeky.

historical people with red hair like the Irish, have been characterized as having a poor temperament. I personally haven't met any out of the ordinary. and find red headed women to be exceptionally beautiful and well mannered. but don't tick them off.

I think not always, because as I observed in the movies mostly of the bad guys, they are black haired,and not red! and have you try to see Anne of green gables! mind you! you will love this girl! she red hair too! in the book she was called "carrot"

Many people, with red hair do tend to have a short temper, im sure not all of them do, it just seems that most of the ones i know do.......

maby media is trying to give off that red is in reference to the devil. therefore the caracters with red hair are evil or mean...
