A spring/summer perfume is a light floral perfume. For example, my spring perfume is Lily of the Valley (yeah I know a lot of old ladies wear it, but I LOVE IT!) and my winter perfume is Jessica McClinktock. It has a stronger scent.
The real difference is the strength. In the spring/summer you want delicate as you have more bare skin, in the fall/winter you want a heavier scent because your layers are heavier.

An example of a winter fragrance is Opium, Paloma Picasso, Halston, Yves St Laurent. Winter fragrances tend to be heavier, woodsy : For... summer, White Linen,Channel #5 or florals like Jasmine, lilac, Giorgio...hope this helps!
