Bush is a great man.
Many people are "Proud" of Bush because he is the first Retarded American to become a US President = The Idiot

What do you mean by north American? American will do fine, thank you. We are a country, not a continent. Get used to it.
I think Bush is among the sorriest excuses for a conservative the White House has seen in some time. He acts more like a democrat than a republican. The way he backed down on the social security privatization is deplorable. "No child left behind," and the abominable Mcain-Fiengold act should have been laughed off the table, yet they were both signed. Not to mention the Iraq situation. A nation of barbarians whose civilization is thousands of years old is not going to become a democracy in under a decade. It is idiocy worthy of Jimmy Carter. Nation building is unconstitutional, and as such, illegal.
The Patriot Act is in defiance of the 4th amendment. Again, defying the constitution is the act of a liberal, so Bush is a failure.
The fact that the USA trades with Red China and Red Venezuela, while not Bush's doing, is reprehensible. That our dollars feed these commie nightmare states is akin to treason. A real conservative would end our trade deficits and impose protectionist tarrifs on all nations, especially evil communist ones.(I know evil and commie is redundant but what the heck.)
Most importantly, Bush has shown respect and even reverence for the UN. NO good. Globalization is the balywick of the socialist utopian liberal who has no grip on reality. Not a conservative. A conservative knows we need to leave the Un, and ask them to get that abomination off the East River, and out of this country. We need to stop funding them, and now. Bush will not.

EDIT: To my Euro friends-I respect your opinions, but be it known your are not an American, and as such your opinions remain irrelevant here. I say that with all respect, but that is the simple truth. I dont comment on the EU because I don't live there.

The shades of gray are endless for me. Mostly, I don't think he is any better or worse than any other career politician. But, as I am a pretty traditional type of guy, I will respect the office of the President no matter the name or party of the person holding it. I don't believe he is a bad man at heart, I wouldn't mind him as a neighbor quite honestly. He has qualities I like, yet some I think need improvement. Just like any other President, he is a human being and will stumble and make mistakes.

I have definite opinions though about our complete political system. Ones I won't normally share here though, suffice to say I don't feel it works. A choice of 2 is not enough for me.

This is surly a loaded Question... As a American I must stand by him because we are the UNITED states.....But On a personal note I feel he has hurt this country more than any other president EVER. He has changed our destiny FOREVER, and turned EVERYONE on the planet against us thinking we(the people) are BUSH.........and that is so UNTRUE...I think his heart is in the right place but went about things in a irresponsible( and that`s putting it VERY lightly) way. He is not presidential material.

I think he is a much better president than Gore or Doyle would have been. However, I do not think he is anywhere near the President that John McCain would have been. I could have written McCain a 3 minute speech that would have won him Virginia, North Carolina, and the south while exposing Jerry Falwell and Pat Robinson for what they are.

To heck with "North American People", the only opinions that matter are those of United States of America citizens!

At least 70% of us do not think he is a good President. Most of us do not trust him or his policies. He has severely damaged the reputation of this country, and his war in Iraq and Afghanistan is creating havoc in the Middle East. He represents the interests of the most wealthy of us, often at the expense of the middle class and the poor. And those are the nice things that I can say about him.

He is a fine president. The country is economically better than Clinton left it. Unemployment is at an all time low. Social security has added drug benefits and taxes have been lowered.

He is the worst president we have had since Hoover, another Republican that didn't care about the American people.
