the fact that it's just another fad that will fade away in a very short time. in 10 years you'll look at your myspace pics and think "o my god, what was i thinkin back then!??"

i don't hate emo people. i hate people who claim to be emo.
if you go around saying "hey i'm emo" that sounds ridiculous..
who honestly categorizes themselves? last time i checked i was a person. when did that become not good enough? i see TOO MANY people who claim to be "emo" saying things like this "omg yeah mcr is so kickass they're the best band ever!!!1 anyone who doesn't like them sucks" i hate people who talk like that.
if you're emotional or whatever the hell emo supposedly means then thats ok. and if you listen to music that is "emo" then i guess thats ok. just don't go around saying youre emo....

Nothing? Well, I don't anyway. Its more a matter of do I get along with that person rather than label they slap on themeselves. I happen to think some of my "emo" friends are pretty darn hot.

The fact that emo's claim that they are always depressed about the one girl they lost to the other kid; the hairstyle is atrocious; skinny is NOT fashionable, nor is it healthy; you don't just around to GOOD music, like anything HEAVY metal; They are known to cut themselves;

Well, I believe they think that emotional people are not realistic ie they consider mind over heart. Suppose you're working somewhere and you're emotional - that would prove as a disadvantage if you were to be considered for a vacancy in the finance department :( Just my 2 cents, hope it helps... :)

I don't know but I would like to know that too and why do goths make fun of emos when they are basically the same except one is angry and the other is sad. : /

Its people who try to act a certain way, and change themselves to try to fit a trend... that makes people hate them. They dress the same and everything yet they say they have their own style. Theyre all the same.

people who have something against them are probably messed up cause when you aren't messed up you accept everyone and see the beauty in them, the beauty in the sadness, the realness.

I dislike them because they are annoying. They think they're being so creative and original, but they aren't. And I hate it when guys wear skinny girl's jeans.
