You may be contacted by the company to let you know that they cannot ship your order to you. If you don't hear anything in the next couple of days, you might want to shoot them an email or make a phone call to them to question them regarding their policies in the matter.

If it's illegal in CA. It's also illegal for the company to ship it there. Contact the company you ordered it from and cancel the order. Are you certain that butterfly knives are illegal in CA? It used to only be the double edged blades. If it's not too late to cancel, do it. Then do more research, if turns out it's not illegal, you can always order another one later.

If you get a license to carry concealed deadly weapons you can legally carry the knife.

No, it's legal to own it, but NOT to carry it.
Put it on a shelf and enjoy looking at it.
