I am shopping for a lower airline ticket to fly to Philippines, can someone help me? One more question... do they need to see my passport when travelling within Philippines? What other choices do I have travelling from Manila to Cebu? Thanks for all the help I might get. :-)

Can someone tell me what is the best way (low cost) for ground transportation, and where to get it, from Manila airport to the City centre?

My wife got a good fare from Vancouver to Manila Jan 15. Fare is $830 return plus taxes, so $1048 Cdn. She is flying Northwest from Vancouver to Portland Oregon, to Tokyo and on to Manila. It's a bus run, but its cheap.

You may need to show a passport to stay in certain hotels.

You can travel from Manila to Cebu by bus, or ferry or both or by air.

anymore help needed, write me cbmaclean@yahoo.com... I wish I was going this time, but I have to stay and work.

Philippine Airlines got a direct flight from Van-Kong to Manila and a domestic flight from Manila to Cebu.

Cathay Pacific offers a direct flight from Van-Kong to Hong Kong and a direct flight from Van-Kong to Cebu.

But the cheapest of them all? I guess Northwest still offers the best value for your money.
