In Uk, Blue = Fire, police, ambulance
Red & Blue USED to be bomb disposal but now bomb disposal and police
White not sure
Green = doctpr on call
Purple / Magenta funeral procession but being mooted as the new vehicle recover colour
Amber - general hazard - from roadworks to breakdown
Yellow - airport vehicles

It depends on the state. Blue always means police. Red is any emergency vehicle. Bottom line, emergency lights mean move over. If they're stopped, move over to the furthest lane and slow down to pass them. If they're moving, move over to the shoulder and let them pass.
