I have a friend from Venezuela that emailed me pictures of each political demonstration. Rosales had 1.4 million people show up for his march, Chavez only had a few hundred, and his buses were covered with Rosales grafitti. Unfortunately, this does not take into account manipulation, or intimidation by Chavez to get what he wants.

Unfortunately Hugo Chavez, the Devil, more than likely has fixed this "election" in his favor. Most dictators are "re-elected". Has Jimney Carter dispatched himself to Venezuela as self-appointed "observer" to this fiasco? I hope he decides to stay there.

Its going to be counted on the debates i imagine. I see Obama protecting something of a lead by maximum of September. As I predicted, he made a good speech on the right of the DNC, which seems to have given him an early develop contained in the polls, the stunning Gallup each day monitoring pollI talked about had him at 40 9-40-one over McCain. This pollwas taken in the course of the speech, and previously this, had them tied at 40 5-40 5, so that you've surely an 8 element spread purely via speech. i do no longer see McCain getting a severe develop out of his convention, a minimum of now to not the degree that I assume Obama to. although the debates, as common, are going to be key. both McCain and Obama are literally not astounding debaters. yet Obama in certain has shown to be a really susceptible debater at the moment, quite compared to his oratory. If he stumbles in those debates with everywhere close to the shape of "umms", "ahs", and awkward pauses as we talked about on the Saddleback communicate board, McCain might want to benefit some factors purely by no longer making any substantial gaffes. Obama needs to concentration on debate practice and staying targeted on the target audience truly than the moderator, it really is why i imagine he truly lost at Saddleback. save in ideas what got here about in 2004. August became a negative month for John Kerry. He were given surely no bounce contained in the polls from the Democratic convention, early August talked with regard to the upward thrust of the quick Boaters, and his failure to respond to the attacks fee him dearly contained in the polls. This, coupled with a commonly efficient Republican convention on the right of August, a spotlight on nationwide safe practices featuring average Republicans McCain, Giuliani, Schwarzenegger, and conservative Democrat Zell Miller, allowed Bush to open up a fifteen element lead over Sen. Kerry which he held for a lot of September. That became till the first debate, in which President Bush became disastrously underprepared, and John Kerry aced it, quite somewhat perfect away bringing the polls decrease back to a useless warmth for something else of the marketing campaign, quite somewhat adequate for Kerry to drag off a win. The debates can substitute the completed race perchance better than the different adventure.

I was in Venusuela in September.
The people HATE Hugo. He is a dictator. Not a socialist, as other cry, because in socialism, the wealth is returned and evenly redistributed to the people. the people are poor, and living in shacks.
Hugo rigged his last two elections. He will steal this one.

I was in Venezuela one month ago and have been discussing with some Venezuelian people. Almost all of them were Chavistas. so I guess he will win with a big difference.
Concerning demostrations with 1,4 million people? all Rosalistas were in the streets, to show their strenghts, Chavistas do not have to show up to express how strong they are, everybody knows.
