If Bradman were batting today, just say he was in his prime, and used the bats player use today. As well as played on the covered wickets they use now, rather than the uncovered wickets he played on, do you think he'd average 200.

you cannot compare different players in different era's because you have no real way of knowing how they would handle different situations.

I doubt it because the balls are faster and swing further which would be very difficult to overcome not to mention that the types of cricket have changed when bradman was laying there were no ODIs or anything so the workload of the current day players is huge. The run rate in test was 2.5-3 now it is 3.5-4 which may not sound like much an over but multiply it by the 120 odd overs a day 120 more runs which is alot

Well, i accept he was a good player but if we compare the bowlers of today with those of his days I think he would not have been able to get an average of even 60. Now a days technology plays a greater part in the game and every bowler would have his weakness known. Similarly the type of training the bowlers get these days is far better than those days. I don't think he would have been able to cope with the 96mph inswinging yorker of Shoaib, or a forious bouncer from lee, similarly the movement off the seam like asif and magrath get. Hence I conclude he would not have been able to do so.

Well, Tendulkar asked him precisely this question. Bradman replied that he would average around 90. On asked why by Tendulkar, Bradman said - "An average of 90 at the age of 90 wouldn't be all that bad."

No I don't think it would be possible to average 200. He'd be over 100 hundred though I'd say. He did score 100 in an innings every 2.75 innings, which is awesome.
Definitely one of the top cricketers in the world.
