When I found out that there's a new Bond, I thought it will be weird. I even thought Craig has no "Bond factor" but when I watched the movie, he certainly is worth it! He's hot. And a good actor as well. He made a different punch to the role. =)

I should preface this by saying I am NOT a Bond fan. I've tried watching past Bond movies, but I just don't like the smarmy, I'm too sexy, shoot the bad guy while banging the babe, old school Bond style.

THIS Bond I can like. This is Bond when he becomes a 00. This is the guy who becomes the Sean Connery Bond. He's cool, but not completely cold. This movie shows how he becomes the Bond you all know and love. Sure, he falls in love. You know it isn't going to work out - and that's when he becomes Bond.

I have adored Pierce Brosnan since Remington Steele, and agreed repeatedly that he made a terrific Bond. Of course, that was when I didn't particularly like Bond. He does the suave, sophisticated, charming character very well. He's very pretty. Daniel Craig plays a much more physical character. The first chase scene is phenomenal - the guy he's chasing climbs and jumps like a monkey, and Bond keeps up. This is an action film, first and foremost. There are explosions, and fight scenes, and near death experiences for Bond. He does have his share of quips, although Craig delivers them with less forced style than the traditional Bond. He can laugh at himself a little, and that's why I like him. The old Bond always took himself so seriously - "shaken, not stirred" - like his style was more important than his substance. The new Bond, when asked if he wants his martini shaken or stirred, replies, "Do I look like I give a damn?"

And for those of you who think Daniel Craig is too old, he's only 38. A very lived in 38, but still, he's the youngest Bond since George Lazenby. Don't judge him by his face - wait'll he takes his clothes off. And ladies, he takes 'em all off.

I JUST finished watching the movie, here are my thoughts:

I don't think we can say he's 'better' than pierce, he's just different in his own way. He put's his own special touch to the character that is Bond. He is just as witty, charismatic and playful as the others but he is probably the most atheletic; he actually did some of his own stunts.

The movie itself was a bit odd though; there was no Q type guy handing out gadgets, and he didn't use any. That aspect is one of the most entertaining and the writer decided to leave it out! Oh well...

And I hated the ending. The movie was streched out for too long and just when you thought it was going to end...along comes another stupid thing to keep me from taking a pee. And the whole 'love you' thing with him didn't go down well with me. Bond does not fall in love!

Overall I thought it was worth the money...but it could have been better.

Eh, wasn't really a fan. Daniel Craig was oafish and the different portrayal of Bond wasn't necessarily a positive one.

On the other hand, I did learn how to play cards.

For me, Daniel Craig should not have been James Bond in Casino Royale. He is not fit to be James Bond.

horrible! brosnan could've played one more time...craig is old...u can see his wrinkles...isnt he like 42? and he's muscular yes...but he has a gut...he has no personality or charisma. the movie itself wasnt good...i know times change..but Bond has never changed...he doesnt say "i love you" and he doesnt quit over some woman. they completely messed up the tradition.
