It is such a big city . . . but Silverlake has some of the best new restaurants. I would recommend Ramubtan Thai and Cliff's Edge. If you are visiting from out of town, you must try Pink's in Hollywood. Studio City has the best sushi - there are dozens of sushi restaurants in little strip malls.

If you live in town, you should invest in the Cozmo deck. I tried it this year and saved a lot of money. It is a deck of cards that are $15 off coupons for 52 different restaurants. All of the restaurants in the deck are GREAT. The deck costs around $40 I think if you buy it at the beginning of the year, but they discount it if you buy it a few months into the year. It pays for itself if you go out to dinner 3 times.

SO MANY to choose from!

La Petite Jardin
Robertson (south) and Pico (east)

French cafe in a garden setting. The menu is classic french, but the recipes have a nice spin on them. I tell Raul, the chef, that one day I'm going to let my guard down and lick the plate. $40 for 2 people.

Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles
Pico (west) and La Brea (south)
Free parking

A classic! Great food, cheap prices. $25 for 2 people

Doug Arango's
Melrose (west) and Robertson (south)
Easy street parking

Very eclectic menu that changes often. $80 for 2 people, including drinks.

Napa Valley Grill
Glendon and Wilshire in Westwood
Valet parking

Seasonal menu, creative ideas, outstanding California wine list. $120 for 2 people.

if you like Sea Food you can go to "Neptune's Net" they are in Malibu, CA. On PCH. past Pepperdine College. It is freshly caught and tastes great. it is a little expensive, but the view on the way up there is well worth the cost. also there are a lot of Motor Cycle Riders there and you get to see all the wild designs that they have on their bikes. check out their website at http://www.neptunesnet.com/

Too broad of a question for a city of this size. Do you have a certain area in mind? Do you want fine dining? Local favorites? You need to elaborate before we can tell you go to Morton's or Tommy's (Or H-Salt vs. Gladstones).
