I also heard that your youtube account can get subpoena. If so, what kind of info can youtube release about you other than your email?

Once the infringement is down, the copyright owner is usually happy. However, this doesn't stop a copyright owner from filing a case and serving a subpoena to get data as to who you are. Every online company I know never divulges much of anything, except possibly your IP address. But names, almost never. Getting a subpoena done though is time-consuming and involves possibly filing a complaint and getting permission from the Court to serve the subpoena, etc. Thus, most copyright owners are happy if the infringement was taken down simply by having sent a cease and desist letter. So, I would give you a 99% chance that you are fine.

well they might question you having the video in the first place but probubly not. youtube is trying to keep things stable around there so your account might get subpoena. youtube cant relase much info on you but if it is serious then if you don't have the correct protection like a firewall then they could track you with your IP Adress.

That's a very complicated issue. I suggest you visit the government site on copyrights and read up. Basically, yes, you can be the victim of a legal attack. Statutory fine (civil) was raised to $150k just a few years ago.

It depends on the person you stole it from I suppose. I know of a lot of video's that were deleted on there all the time because of copyright, but it happens so much I think they just delete them...can't be sure though.
