You don't lose unless the other totally proves a point and you agree... Agree? :)
I so despise a go no-where argument, where there is name calling and you did this or didn't do that. In that case, it's useless and nothing gets accomplished.
But yes, I agree if it is truly an intellectual argument. If so, you can gain knowledge and respect for the other person even if you don't agree. I call it a productive argument.

After the game, the king and the pawn go into the same box.
- Italian Proverb
From the message in this proverb it doesn't matter what you do you enivitably end up in the same place as the looser so why try...
Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.
- Robert F. Kennedy
From this quote by Robert F. Kennedy if you don't allways put up a good fight, weather you lose or win you will never have the chance to become great. So I would say it is important to to give the extra effort.
Now the real question is it worth it to you, becaus when it really comes down to it you are the only one who can put out the effort for the good fight.
Its not the size of the dog in the fight that counts; its the size of the fight in the dog.
Think on it... cause i still am.

Think of these people:
Gandhi
Martin Luther King Jr.
Malcolm X
Bicyclists
Civil activists (Thoreau)
But first, consider who's on the right side, and what's the best way to fight.

Yes, because any victory that evil has in this world is temporary- God is the last word on all judgement. Rest well, knowing that you stood up for what is right- they will get theirs...what goes around, comes around.

Yes because then you know you have fought tooth and nail for a cause you are passionate about. Even if lost, it wasn't a waste of time.

If one truly believes the fight is not for personal gain, religion, girls/boys, or who is right or wrong. Then I say Go for it!
