we did live together in a couple of houses, however I had to return home to responsabilities, not that it was that far away, but he had no licence we both worked all the time shifts were never compatable, financial hardship for him thru no fault of his own.

He always treated me like I was precious and my 2 kids and their kids always built up my spirits, however he drank a little too much.
Never abusive though.

It just feels right now I hope I'm so I'm tired of going thru life alone my kids are grown up now and I'm free medicaly retired. We are in our 40's

I'm gonna go for it and there will be lots of travel coming up,Things have improved a lot for him now.

PS its easier the second time round I know him and already love him.

I want to know what you think

As long as the circumstances of your first break up really weren't that bad go for it. There are two things that kind of concern me about this though. You say that he drank too much, does he still do this. If so you need to let him know how you feel about this. Also, are the circumstances this time going to be much different than last time. If they won't be, than you are just setting yourself up for heartache a second time around. It sounds like they may be different though. Your kids are now grown up, and you can probably devote more time to yourself, and someone else. I say go for it! Good luck!
