i can tell that this is so. you can count the right leaning ones on one hand (maybe even one finger) but why should this be so. does it really sell more soap?
talk radio doesnt count for these purposes since they are not controled. it is pretty obvious that they are right leaning because their callers are and that is clearly a free market mechinism.

You have the free market theory reversed. Talk radio is right leaning because people enjoy listening to someone who believes what they believe. Network news might be left leaning - I don't know because I don't watch - NPR is left leaning and I feel it's because that's more the truth. CNN and Fox are right leaning. I do watch them sometimes because I want to know what they are up to.

Anyone needing a college degree becomes a liberal in university if they weren't before then.
If you are conservative they won't graduate you, you must follow the party line. There are one or two Christian Colleges or Universities which have journalism programs, but no major news source would hire one of their graduates.

Talk radio personalities do not require degrees.
