IF I WERE YOU I WOULD GET THE SECOND JOB AND FORGET ABOUT THOSE 7.50 YOU GET FOR WORKING @ VS.

P.S. I WOULD STILL KEEP GOING TO SCHOOL

If you can, wait until you find out more about the promotion.

If that's not an option then you need to ask yourself if quality time with your co-workers is worth 4.5 dollars an hour? Would you rather be happy and busy, or have the extra money.

If you decide you are ready to quit, you might want to discuss your new job opportunity with your VS manager and maybe use it as leverage for that promotion or for a raise.

You are 18. Neither of these jobs represent a career, which presumably is what you are going to college for. Take the one that pays the most. Either would look ok on your resume' as they show you worked, period. Nice business card means squat. Nice co-workers are nice, but you won't even know these people in 4 years (or less). They are not family. Go for the bucks.

Since neither of these will be a career for you -- and your school work represents the path that will take you towards your first career (whatever it will be), pick the job that will focus the best on your school work. I had a terribly boring night job when I was in college -- but it paid well above minimum wage and I could do my homework at work on most nights.

As a full-time student, the likelihood of being able to work 40+ hours, do your homework well, and maintain your sanity is very small. Keep the part-time job and focus on your studies.

**** your co-workers. ask yourself this: Would they stay at VS making 7.50 to hang out with you and the other staff or would they PEACE OUT V.C and go make 12.??/hr? Take the other job. You may not make friends but you'll make $$$. Trust

do what helps your school, in the meantime, think about this, 5 dollar difference, 40 hours, thats only 200 bucks - taxes, maybe 170 a week, to be happy? ??? Its not like its your carrer, so what makes you happy

One in six is good odds? Take the job that helps you stay in school and base your decision on that basis only.

Do you like your job at VS...I think you should take the new job if you think you can handle it.
