As much as I want them to get better they are just not doing it. I think they will continue to be a second round playoff team until they trade vince. As good a player as he is, he still has a lot of faults (bad defense, poor decision-making, abysmal performance in the clutch, sticky fingers, erratic perimeter shooting who too easily falls in love with treys, etc) Even if they don't trade him there's a good chance he will bolt this summer and leave them with nothing. Kidd is getting older and won't be effective for much longer. They should pour all their efforts to contend for a championship into this season and find someone that can help them do that instead of vc.

Well maybe he could go to the Bulls for Tyrus Thomas, Ben Gordon and PJ Brown's salary. Isaiah loves VC so they might be able to get qrich and a couple others for him. The clippers might also be interested in him for Maggette, Mobley and Singleton

I honestly feel like its a no win situation for the nets anytime soon. They got good players but it just isn't working for him. I feel like the problem lies deeper than just VC. While it might be a good start, I don't think they can get an instant problem solver in return for him. It might be time to rebuild in NJ.

well, the thing is, right now he's just a rent-a-player in a trade, and there aren't really any teams that, if you put vince on their team, they are suddenly a real contender. the nets are not going to contend for a title this year regardless. i don't think he will jump, because he's in a great situation right now, plays with the best point guard and on a team that can run well. he's one of the few players in the east who are legit threats to drop 40+, and the nets aren't going to get anyone to match his production. if they are really serious about getting a title, jefferson should be the guy to go, because you can't expect to find someone willing to give a 20 point scorer who can defend too. the bulls aren't gonna give up gordon, thomas, and their best cap space for a rent-a-player. the knicks also aren't gonna get another wing who needs the ball to be effective, and qrich is a better defender, but not as good a scorer, and has the other problems that vince does. the best deal i think for them to try is go after artest, but the maloofs probably won't wanna take him unless they get him for a few years, and they'd want the arena settled first. as it is right now, i think the nets have as good a shot oflsing in the conference finals to detroit, orlando, miami, or cleveland as anyone else, and i don't know who they could get to push them over the hump

where's he gonna go?

he ain't going to toronto, he ain't going to the knicks, oh i can't see anyone going to the knicks, the magic are the only ones with any resemblence of cap space and they're going to be tied up with d-howard, jameer, and darko, so they're not likely to splash on vinsanity, as his having a career year, see what happens and then ship him out a la k-mart, cause denver are still hurting from that so the nets should just hold tight and let the celtics/ainge come and see what they can get.
