do you want intimate contact with them...if yes then you are attracted to the same sex.

Maybe you're just attracted to the qualities of a female. You can be somewhat attracted to the same sex (sometimes) and it doesn't mean anything. Do you feel like acting on these feelings or are they just fantasy-like thoughts? Same-sex fantasies are very common (right up there with watching two people engage in sex) but fantasies can sometimes be just that... fantasies.
On the Kinsey Scale which considers 0 exclusively heterosexual and 6 as exclusively homosexual:
Men: 11.6% of white males aged 20-35 were given a rating of 3 for this period of their lives.
Women: 7% of single females aged 20-35 and 4% of previously married females aged 20-35 were given a rating of 3 for this period of their lives. 2 to 6% of females, aged 20-35, were given a rating of 5 and 1 to 3% of unmarried females aged 20-35 were rated as 6.
You're the only person who can decide what to do so don't force yourself into doing something you'll regret but don't hold yourself back from something that could make you happy, either.

Always stay within the bounds of the "norm" in society.
The word "norm" means:
A standard, model, or pattern.
Consider the word, "normal".
The word means:
Conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural.
You might want to consider the word "inordinate".
This is the meaning:
1. not within proper or reasonable limits; immoderate; excessive
2. unrestrained in conduct, feelings
3. disorderly; uncontrolled.
4. not regulated; irregular
Keep all your relationships "normal" without "inordinate" thoughts, or behavior. To do so means you are healthy and normal.

Not to oversimplify, but if you want to have sexual relations of some sort with women, then you are attracted to them. You dont have to have ever done anything to feel attraction.
However, if you want to know if you're lesbian or bisexual, then experiment. You'll know quickly.

Well, I can't tell you when you are attracted to someone. As long as you feel a SEXUAL attraction to someone of the same gender, then you're out of the "completely hetero" category. *shrugs* Maybe bi-curious? Cool...
