I love the simpsons and i have been watching it longer. Family guy is really funny and random though. My vote is for the simpsons.

Family Guy definitely. The Simpsons are getting a little old and predictable whereas you never quite know what is going to happen on Family Guy.

Family Guy wouldn't exist if The Simpsons hadn't been created! I enjoy both but The Simpsons is only funny to those who can follow the quick jokes. Family Guy rips off The Simpsons and is only good because it has to go to that dirty humor and then extend the random scenes to unimaginable points. Definitely more respect for The Simpsons here.

The Simpsons is the ORIGINAL crude humor cartoon. Been a fan for years and can't stand Family Guy. Loved the South Park spoof on Family Guy.

I like family guy better cause you can never predict what they'll make of and Peter's antics just surprised the hell out of you, they aren't afraid to push the boundaries.
The Simpsons have lost that edge that they had back in their past plus being on the air almost 11 or 12 seasons it's bound to run dry of things to make fun of.
