Not necessarily. There are some very smart students where I teach and sometimes the smart ones are very good at finding ways to avoid hard work.

Only I.Q. with a good moral character can take people a long way. I.Q. itself doesn't guarantee much.

My nephews have I.Q.'s higher than mine but they are 35 years old and bag groceries as they don't like hard work and have a big fear of college. So much for intellegence.

Give me two kids...one with I.Q. and one with work ethic and I'll bet on the kid with the work ethic.

No. A high IQ just means you learn things a little faster than others. It has nothing to do with being a good worker. You could have an IQ of 200 and still not be a good worker.

Being intelligent means that one could learn how to do the job correctly. It also helps one to make good decisions if they are required by the job.

But someone could have a high IQ and still be lazy or dishonest and some jobs are so dull that a smart person might start making mistakes out of sheer boredom.

A high IQ is a requirement for some types of jobs but good character is also necessary.

IQ has nothing to do with ethics, and can be the reason for the god complex that has high IQ people doing less than others.

A high IQ does not mean you are a hard worker nor does it mean you will be succesfull in life. Work ethics and intelligence do not go hand in hand.

no. my brother is super smart (he passed the test to get into millitary intelligence) but lives in my moms basement, unemployed. I think it's about motivation and doing what you love. I had a professor that said " if you find a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life" he passed away, but I never forgot that

not really! it all depends on how your work skills are. some people might be book smart but in other things they may be ignorant.it all depends on how well a person performs in their own level.i think practice makes a person good at what they do.
