When it is freezing outside, I will close all the doors and my dome light stays on along with the door ajar light. This is a 2000 plymouth neon. Anybody have an idea about this?

When I say freezing, I don't mean that it's ICY or Snowy. It's just dry and cold.

Everything is cold and shrinking, just like getting yourself out of a cold pool.

There may be a way to adjust it, but if you get some little thin felt pads and stick them where the switch hits the door, it'll push the switch in just a tad more and solve the problem.

Could be a little bit of ice in the door jamb. Try a hair dryer to remove ice if you can.
