If your printer uses a tri-color or several multi-color cartridges, they may be low on everything but magenta. Often, when one or more colors run out, the printer still tries to print - it just can't blend the colors right and you end up with something unexpected.

I would bet you typically don't print much red under normal circumstances, so that's all your printer has left. Otherwise, you might be looking at some type of software problem or print-head problem with your printer.

undemanding you're out of magenta ink, or the print head has dried up. attempt countless print head or nozzle cleanings to work out if that frees it up first. in case you have not any progression on high quality it fairly is advisable to replace the cartridge. there are in undemanding terms a finite style of cases you could certainly fill up. on the extra cutting-edge fashions of HP you would be luck to get a million or 2 refills and nonetheless look after a point of high quality.

Yeah I would do a cleaning, or don't know if you want to do this but use to work for me. Take out color cartridge and shake it, make sure holes on bottom are covered and then put it back in. Seriously use to get more ink out that way.

You might be out of black ink. Try checking to see if you're out.
