I need to send out 300 cards and it is so expensive to buy them in small packs from drug/dept. stores. Where can I buy cool cards in larger quantities that don't look like they cam from an insurance company?

You can find them at the Dollar Store (nice packs, too, usually left overs from past seasons, but undated) at about 14-20/$1.00.

Personally, though, I'd go with ordering them from a stationary company if you need 300. If you managed to get 20 per pack at Dollar Tree, you'd need 15 packs. I guess that's not so bad, actually.

I got some really nice ones there that originally sold at Kohls last year at almost $15 a box for 14 cards. They were flocked velvet on the front, with a picture in the middle and a holographic "frame" around the picture. The envelopes had the matte finished gold mylar lining, too. They were gorgeous cards, and I got 2 packs of them, 28 cards for $2, rather than $30.

They also had a lot of Disney ones in stock- Mickey & Minnie, the Pooh gang, etc.

It's kinda early for this idea but go to Walmart the day after Christmas and you will find all the cards on sale. I send out 200 cards a year or more (I own a business). I hit Walmart and get boxes of 32 cards for a 1.00. Their regular 2.00 a box and are nice cards. Since I mail so many they gave me bulk discount at USPS. So I spend about 10.00 on cards and not much more than that on mailing them.
