I dated someone for 4 years, we remained great friends afterwards. It has been almost 10 years since we have known eachother and I have never gone longer than a week or two without hearing from this person. In the Spring I didn't hear from him for about 2 months. I had been worried, but figured he just had some things to figure out for himself and he'd call me when he wanted to talk. He did and things were fine for a month and a half and he said "I'll call you on Thursday or Friday", because he had some friends coming into town. It has been 5 months since that day and I still haven't heard a word from him. I'm very worried. He was going through some tough times. I've done searches on the internet but alas, have not come up with anything. I have no number to reach him at, since his phone was shut off and my cell number has changed but not my house. I did find his sisters on Myspace and wanted opinions as to whether or not people thought it would be ok to ask them how he is?

I would definitely ask his sister. There may be something going on in his life that you could help him with. I don't think after the friendship you and he shared, he would just quit having contact with you for no reason. Check out and see what's going on with him. He's your friend and that's what friends do. Good Luck.

yes i would ask his sisters if he is ok just in case something has happened to him. if he is ok i would have to say he is probably seeing someone new and is enjoying getting to know them, if you are friends do not take this personal his new girlfriend may have a problem with him talking to an ex girlfriend
