I have a Sony PSP and both FAT and FAT32 works on it but which one is better/faster? I'm not quite sure.

Im pretty sure FAT32 is better because it give you more usable space.

FAT32 uses space more efficiently due to the cluster size efficiency. This file format is readable by all Windows operating systems since Windows 95. FAT will only support up to 2GB partitions and only 11 character filenames. FAT32 will support up to 256 character filename. So, FAT32 is better.

its the same , but the differents between them its the name, so in the fat u can named the file to 16 caracter , and at fat32 u can named it to 32 caracter <= its better.

fat32 works as fast as fat . fat32 is better for bigger drives. fat is also universally compatible and fat32 is more for microsoft products.
