I disagree. Most of the important things in the world are done by normal people, and happen everyday in small ways. A kiss on a child's cheek. A hug. Eating dinner and discussing your day with your family. Making a new friend. Talking to, supporting and sharing with friends. Learning something new. Practicing something you learned from your grandparents. Remembering a loved one lost. Remembering anything. Making someone smile.

Life is full of important things. They need not be big or have a phenomenal impact on society as a whole... but each one will have an important effect on your society, on your friends society, on their friends society... and so forth.

Life and times are not made up of the big events, discoveries or even inventions that rock the world. Life and times are made up of moments and the value that we place on each moment we have. THOSE are the most important things. And they do not usually require super-human efforts.

Hope is a quality that many don't know how to utilize. There is never a point where there is no hope at all. After going to the lowest of low, if life is still there, other than being dirt (origination) there is no were to go but up. A baby girl, left in a bag in a garbage dumpster, was not crushed but rescued, the state named her "Hope". A female dog and her six puppies were put in a large bag and tossed in the ocean, the seamen that pulled them in named the dog "Hope'. The word Hope, noun, verb or/and adjective? It depends how you utilize it. So I guess I agree.

I doubt it. Make a llist of important things and then find out if the odds were against it or if the person had to fight a lot of battles to get it done. It will be true in some cases, but I would guess not most. In other words, you can achieve important things without being superhuman.

Agree 100%, for those that may doubt it check out on the web how many times Abraham Lincoln lost elections, or How many times Walt Disney went bankrupt, or how many failures Thomas Edison had before getting the light bulb correct.

I believe that 75 percent accomplished important things by not giving up, and 25 percent accomplished important things purely by chance or luck!...LOL

No, I completly disagree with u. I know many people who just give it up just in one try, they never hope for that, again in their lives.
