I'm in Australia, and happen to work in the gambling field (in policy and research). I can tell you categorically that there is no government-run lottery in Australia - although our state and federal governments do make a WHOLE lot of money from the industry.
The email is rubbish. You haven't one anything - sorry.

I think you will have to be in Australia to claim the prize to be governed by the tax laws of that country.

It's a scam don't do it. They want your bank account to drain all your money from it. Or any links you click on in the email contain viruses or even where they can get your passwords.

I also recieved the same e-mail for 1,00,000,000$ prize..but from new york, america...I simply unsubscribed it. Don't wish for money that you get without your work which will be useless even if you get it.

They are not legitimate emails. Do not trust emails, that seem too good to be true.
