I to have a red tailed boa his name is jake he is 13 years old and about 8ft long. Usually when they shed depending on how long it takes. They always start at there head, by nudging up against some thing to start the shed, she probebly isnt done and still has some on her body that you may not see, no worries she is just fine. Jake used to shed about once every 2 months but now that he is bigger he will shed any where from every 2 weeks to a month... Jake will only eat live feeders, how about your little girl. How big is she? what does she eat? how many times do you feed her? alishael_33@yahoo.com

She hasn't shed yet. Snakes go blue (the "milky eye" phase), then they clear up, and a few days after that, they shed. Watch for a skin in a day or two.

If you have a watering dish in with the snake, mix one part non-flavored pedialyte(the drink for kids when they are sick) with one part water, this should help it with its shedding, if that doesn't work bring it to the vet because there is still that thin layer of skin over its eyes, it is just transparent now and can cause infections in the eyes

Give it some time and purchase a spary that aids in the process. The actual process itself will not last long. Time between sheds will vary with size and age. I bet it'll come.
