Wow, you guys are laying it into this guy! Why are you calling him a deadbeat and sorts? You don't know his situation, don't judge!
And to answer the question, you're probably going to have to suck it up and pay for it. You should probably consult with a lawyer though to see if they can make the payments lower or make the intrest lower.

You say you've been paying $1500 a month for the last 10 years - but your kids are all over 25 years old. Let's say the youngest is 25. That means you started paying child support when that child was 15. What about BEFORE that child was 15? Is that when you were divorced? Or had you been ordered to pay support for years before that, but never did, and only started paying when that child was 15? This is key to the answer.
Bottom line is, even though child support is only payable up till a child turns 18 (or 21, if they are in college), it seems kind of odd that you would have racked up such a huge amount ON TOP OF the $1500 a month you've been paying. I strongly suggest you speak to an attorney who specializes in the area of support matters. It may very well be that the State never closed down the support order when they should have. However, if it turns out that the amount the State shows you owe is correct, you will have to pay it off. An attorney may be able to negotiate the interest being dropped/stopped. Dealing directly with CSE is an exercise in futility. They won't adjust anything without a court order telling them to do so.

The feminazi war machine that is the family court system will never allow this. They could care less about the children or the children having a father, they simply want cash.
They promote hatred and sexism through their feminazi tactics and hatred of anything not female. They hate the thought of a father being an equal parent, thus the reason 99% of the time women end up with the children, men end up with a bill.
Hopefully in time our children will be able to have both parents and women will begin to assume some responsibility as well.

Well, it is clear to me that you weren't meeting your obligations.
There is a chance that you could get some of the interest taken off, but you are responsible for the bill. There is no reason that you should ever have expected her to tackle all of those financial obligations by herself. If she hadn't had to try to, she probably wouldn't have needed any help from the state.
You owe it buddy. There goes your new house. All of the things that she and the kids had to go without in the days of old are no more.

It is clear you must have been a deadbeat because you are paying now for what you did not pay then. Why do you owe? Because you failed to pay. What makes you think it is okay for only one parent to have to bear the burden of all the expenses for the kids. How many kids did you have? How long did you not pay? How much support was ordered and when. Amnesty? You owe the money..... you owe it....

You married a gold digger.she was not your wife.she tried to ruin you and profit from the deed.she lied to your friends about you.set you up for failure and poisoned your kids minds against you.you probably think that someone who would bear your children would stand beside you in times of need, just like she promised.she probably tryed to publish a book on how successful she was at ruining your life.and here you are with tire tracks on your back knowing that in fact you are such a nice person that this could not possibly be what you caused after you waited so long for the one who said the right words that you wanted to hear.so when did your love life end?was it honeymoon night when she refused to change position anymore?

If you hadn't gone into arrears, you wouldn't still be paying. You should have met your obligations headon, instead of procrastinating. You were the deadbeat, and now you are paying for it. By the way, my loser biological never paid child support, and I detest the SOB. Do you think your children respect you?

if you welsh on your payments at first it doesnt matter if you're paying now, the point is you didnt pay then and SOMEONE had to, therefore the state steps in and pays your bit and you owe the state.
