can someone explain to me ff? the one with yuna and tidus?

i mean not just final fantasy...the ones with yuna and tidus or is that just one? excuse my ignorance, i havent played any of the games....just watched advent children, so anyway wat happens in that scene where tidus stands in the ocean and yuna flies on an aircraft jumps out and runs and hugs tidus? is that like the end of one ff? and i watched the supposedly ending to ff x, and tidus dissapears and leaves yuna...why does this happen? i dont understand why he goes away, or is there a sequel to that...im real sorry but i don't know im interested and i'd love to know cause it looks really great, and i've heard great things about it

Tidus and his father are dreams of the faith. Tidus is transported to 1000 years in the future and there he learns of an enemy known as Sin who terriozes the world. He accomponies summoner yuna has her guardian and along with Lulu, Wakka, Kamahri, Auron and Rikku, begin a plight to stop Sin...without Yuna dying. In the end Tidus learns he was dead all along, and disappears to be with Auron, Yuna's dad and Jecht.

The airship is from a different game, thats Final Fantasy X-2, the first direct sequel to a Final Fantasy game. It's two years after the orignial and Yuna along with Paine and Rikku search for Tidus and in the end the faith makes Tidus real and they live happily ever after.

Tidus is a memory of a star ball player made real by the dreams of those long dead. He was brought to life to help end the thousand-year cycle of death that the great monster, Sin, has brought about.

Yuna is a summoner. Like many before her, she strives to gain the power of calling powerful spirits to eventually destroy Sin. The summoner will die in the process, and bring about a period of calm when Sin is dead. BUt the sacrifice is always in vain because SIn is always reborn. Tidus and Yuna discover this, and forsake the old way of trying to defeat Sin through the FInal SUmmoning (that will kill Yuna). They find another way, one that defeats Sin forever.

In the process however, the spirits bringing forth Sin and the memory of Tidus and his land, lose their power. So, he and Yuna are parted. X2 continues the story in their eventual reunion.
