I don't smile because I'm afraid I might get beat up for it.

Some of my best friends have told me that the first time they saw me they were scared to talk to me, for fear that I would bite their head off...LOL
I love to smile and I love to laugh, but I don't go around smiling at everyone around me like a village idiot, either.

Body language. If you don't smile, people don't feel comfortable, liked or approved of. Try putting a hangar in your mouth - makes for a great big smile.

ahh forget them is it because you dont have the prettiest teeth? i didnt like to smile much but i went to the dentist the other day and he fixed me up and now i cant stop smiling, huge self esteem booster

I don't smile either. And when people approach me they always say, "why do you look so mean"? So maybe you look mean.

maybe they are afraid of you because they assume your always angry. i know because i dont smile much either
