take five minutes and sit down, imagining how you will feel when the task is done. Or, if it matters to you, how your boss/co-workers/partner, mother or other significant others in your life will feel about you accomplishing the thing. Or, if it's a job that attributes someting to someone's life, imagine being them happy about what you accomplished. In short: imagine all the good things that will be the result of your efforts, put a grin on your face and then just get started!
Good luck!

Break down into smaller sub-tasks if possible and have a sheet you can keep "ticking things off" along the way.
Perhaps a bit late to sit dfown and do a proper written goal sheet - but they do tend to help people achieve their goals most of the time.
Also set yourself some "target reaching" rewards - with a fab one at the end.
Picture in your mind the results of completing the work - and the pride / reward / benefit it will bring. Then also picture in your ind the consequence of NOT completing on time. Then focus back on the positive image in your mind once more.

Write yourself feel good notes cuz when you are feeling like you can't go on any longer you will be able to look up and see that you are doing great and that there are people out here in cyberspace rooting for you. Just knowing that you are not alone can be help in itself. When I had to stay up for over 24 hours during a Naval exercise I wrote inspirational notes to myself before I began my task - cute notes saying that it was time to give myself a pat on the back, or time to take a deep breath and relax for 10 minutes. If you do that before you begin you task and every hour you see a note you will be fine! Just taking on the daunting task is inspirational enough - stay focused on the outcome and you will be fine. We're all out here rooting for ya!!!

While you're turning out the work, don't forget to eat well (including BREAKFAST, lunch, dinner, appropriate snacks) which will keep your brain and body working at top performance. Also, you must get 7 hours of sleep nightly for the same reason.
These things will help you to think clearly and feel well while you're working.
Best of luck.

Set short-term goals for yourself. Break the project up into steps, and find ways of congratulating yourself on each step which is completed. Focus on one part of the project, instead of trying to see the whole thing at once -- which can be rather overwhelming!

The fact that you are motivated to go here and ask for help means you are, in fact, full of motivation to finish it.

Just think ahead to the feelings of achievement and relief you'll have when you complete it all! Remember to take breaks and refresh yourself. Don't try to rush. If you rush, you'll only have to waste time redoing.
