What would your ideal band or artist be like?

What kind of music would they play? What kind of lyrics? Would you like the band/artist to be popular or underground? What kind of an image would you look for? What would the ideal album form this band/artist be?

My ideal band would have a heavy rock feel.
The lead singer would be a female with a raunchy raw vocal sound. Lyrics should be meaningful, but cryptic so you'd have to really listen to them to get an understanding of what they are about.
They would have to start out as a underground band - but gain popularity as time went on without compromising their cool......!
The album would have a diverse mix of original sounds with plenty of creative lead guitar and yet still be able to come across as melodic - perhaps a few slower rock-ballad numbers thrown in, just to show how truly versatile they are.
Their image would definately have to be dark. grungy & rebellious, although - and I am putting my foot down about this - the lead singer will NOT be wearing a leather bra on stage. :-)

My ideal artist would be a guy who had a enough guts about him to sing about love and I mean the real stuff. Not the hoping or demeaning the women. He would also have to be cute, but it would not matter. His group really would not have no definite category.

a straight up rock band, with positive messages, and who just play music because they love it, not for the money. add in a clean image and the chili pepper's energy and youve got a heck of a band!
