I would budget 5 hours. The border crossings can be a "wild card."

If you will be staying the entire time in downtown Toronto, I would highly recommend taking the train from Windsor. Parking your car in Toronto will be an additional expense and their public transportation is great.

4 Hours, assuming you don't speed and don't get caught in traffic.

This is just from the edge of Windsor. If you cross the border at a bad time, add on up to an extra hour.

By car, generally 5 hours, though you can get there in 4 hours if you speed a little bit and there's no traffic or bad weather.
