Everyone cares about appearance, but the more emotionally mature people realize there are more important things. It's still hard to get past someone who's downright ugly, though, especially if it's stuff that could be fixed if the guy took a little better care of himself (a bit of excercise to get rid of the flab and good hygiene goes a long way.)
That said, you're asking in the LGBT group. Most of the girls here are lesbians, and aren't really interested in men anyway.

Yeah, girls care about what guys look like! But their personality is the most part! Here's some things to stay away from: facial hair and shirts with cocky sayings. It's also always better when you're in shape!

Yeah, I know I'm shallow, but I do. *shrugs* But you can't say males don't care what girls look like, either. It works both ways... well, some care and say it (me), some purportedly don't care but really do, and some actually don't care. Of course, I only like the hot guys because it's much more fun picturing them with other hot guys... *drools* lol

The attraction has to be there sure. He does not have to be the most handsome no. I have come to find out in my opinion that a guy that opens a door for me, respects me, respects other women, and genuinely cares and shows compassion for others has a special place in my life.

There are some that do and some that don't. Its like men, some men really care how beautiful the woman they are dating is and some go for the brains. For me it doesn't matter what he looks like as long as he is presentable. I worry more about the personality, how they treat me and others, and how he carries himself.

depends on the girl. I'm a pretty hot chick that went out with a REALLY FAT guy with REALLY BAD acne. He just CRACKED ME UP. Ended up living together for 5 years. He was just a genuinely nice guy. Still miss him.

Okay well with me i guess i like a little physical attraction like not alot i mean just a little bit. Its like you guys with girls you have to have something that turns you on. im not trying to be shallow. However i love a guy that can make me laugh and show me he cares about me and not just about sex.
