Is it so she can see how she "measures up" ? Or, is it a joke to see if I would laugh? Or, could she like me? Help-I don't have a gaydar. I should know her since I have been friends for a while, but I am so confused-first time she's said something like this to me. I would talk to her, but she is seeing a new guy now and I don't want to be a bad friend by bringing this up and ruining her relationship. :'(

She could be interested in being with you, just not sure how to bring it up. Making jokes about it to see how you react to the idea. I suggest going ahead and talking with her about it, doing that won't make you a bad friend. Even if she's seeing a new guy, talking about this might clear the air between the two of you, doesn't have to mean that it would break the two of them up. Besides, if she has feelings for you, but is seeing a new guy, she may not be having all that great of a new relationship anyway. Could be she's having feelings for you, but that is confusing the heck out of her. Talking it over could help her understand her own feelings, as well as helping you to understand what was going on.
