to live on a small deserted jungle island (similar to the island in that movie "cast away") with your lover. only the 2 of you (and whatever kids you have if you have any). eating seafood. fish. crap. coconuts. surfing the waves on the shores of your island.

Well, I'm vegan rawfoodist for health, environmental and spiritual reasons. I eat no seafood nor fish nor other animals. If on the island I could plant trees of other fruits besides only coconut , yeah, I'd stay there. But the way things are going in the world, I'm sure I'd suddenly see a Walmart or McDonalds sprout on the other side of the island. Gradually bars and hotels too. Eventually our little piece of heaven would go to hell with all the pollution, competition and irresponsible "fun" that is rampant on the planet!

I loved that movie! Although I never quite understood what a "deserted island" is supposed to me I'd love to live on one by myself.

No....I want tv, computer, a/c, heat, blankets, CLEAN CLOTHES, CLEAN DISHES, different food besides the same ole crap...and a comfy bed. no I couldn't handle it, I'd go crazy to be honest. It would be nice for a little 1-2 day get away but NOT for a place to LIVE.

cast away is just a movie for entertainment of movie goers. in truth nobody will have a long life in that way do not do it if you still want to live happily

No I need to be able to shop, party, drink occasionally, make money, use my brain, and other things that I wouldn't be able to on that island.
