As of right now i am being recruited for track for college for hurdles. I am being recruited by many schools some Division 1 schools and alot of division 3 schools. The two main schools i have broken it down to are UIC the University of Chicago-Illionois (Which is division 1 and a slight lesser in the field i am loookng to explore) and a division 3 school University of Wiscounsin-white water (the nations best D-3 school in track with a better program for my major). The only thing is i would have to pay less money with UIC cause they are division 3. what should i do?

A few years ago at UIC the students wanted the university to cut a large number of sports scholarships because of money problems. Though that desire has died down, there is no love for sports teams here.
UIC, as a school, is generally overall considered to be a harder and more competitive school than Whitewater.

You may be a fantastic track star, and it sounds like you are, but think about your future. There is not much money in professional track (so you go to the Olympics and appear on a Wheaties box once, then what??), so instead choose a well balanced school that will get you a good degree and a sound career path. Good luck!
