Oh you want to pull the chain off the "bar", there should be one or two bolts that hold the bar on, loosen the nuts and take off the side that covers the chain brake/clkutch mechanism, the drive sprocket is behind that, in line with the the "bar" (not called a blade because it doesn't actually do the cutting it guides the chain), if you cant just pull the bar off you may have to adjust the tension adjustment screw that slides the bar forward or back. Then just pull the chain off the bar and off the drive sprocket. Then put the bar and sideplate back on, grab a bottle of ketchup, get your hockey mask on and go to town!

Be certain the chainsaw is turned off when you remove the blade.

Some have 1 nut some have two, you need to remove them and take the housing cover off. The blade and bar will fall right off. Actually if you just look at it you can tell.

generally there will be some screws that will let you take the blade off. look at the manuel or cut metal and dull it =)

adjustment screws that hold bar and blade in place... simply unscrew it a bit and it will loosen up theblade
