I am 23 weeks pregnant. Throughout my pregnancy i*ve had so many complications. The father left me for an ex, im always sick, always having to get hooked up to iv's, couldn't keep my job cause im at the doctors so much, Lets just say it has been the most stressful time ever for me. A week ago i broke doown about my ex. I couldn't stop crying probably a good 5 hours. Hormones, i know. crazyness. Well a couple nights i wake up with horrible pains in my tummy, from above my belly button, to my lower belly. Not round ligament pains, something way different. They usually go away, well yesterday i had them all day and night. No sleep. Today i had them for about 2 hours, i thought i was going to pass out and get sick. It hurts to walk mainly. Now im perfectly fine, but in another hour or 2 they will come back. Any clue why?

no clue as to what they are..you do need to contact your doc..in the mean time drink more water (dehydration causes muscle cramps) and lay on your left side (laying on the left side shift the baby off of whatever nerve he-she may be laying on...which may be causing you discomfort or pain) as far as the being sick...I hear you...I quit getting sick a couple of weeks ago...but it was soo horrible...but try drinking ginger ale, eating crackers and sometimes coke can settle the tummy....sipping cold cold cold water helps aswell....also dont eat big meals..snack throughout the day....God bless you...and stress does horrible things on your body....and keep in mind mommy...you are having to house a lil one..you dont want that to effect her-him...I am sorry that your bf left for an ex..everything happens for a reason..even tho sometimes the reason isnt seen til much later...make sure you have lots of support from family and friends...thats what got me through my bf leaving me....

I am no expert on pregnancy so I will just tell you what i think At 23 weeks the baby is well formed and may be moving around causing discomfort also all the stress you are under does not help at all when you pass water make sure there is no blood in it it would be more black than red .A lot of woman suffer heartburn while pregnant you can take some medicine to help best ask the pharmasist for his advise on that as well you may have bloating again ask the phamasist if you can take medication for that I just read the one I use called donnatab it doesnt mention not to take when pregnant it is for lower stomach cramps etc. but again ask the phamasist or go see a doctor .Sorry I cant be of more help but a check up would'nt hurt .

I agree with the others. You need to call the OB doctor or the nurses on the OB wing at the hospital. They will ask you more specific questions and be able to better help you. Could be growing pains the only way to find out is call and get evaluated. Preterm labor can happen especially with the level of stress you are under. Take care of yourself and the baby, just call you doctor that is what they are there for so don't feel bad about that.

Call your doctor first, and let he or she help you decipher what's wrong, if anything.

Second, hire a lawyer. If your job fired you because you were missing a lot of work while pregnant, that could be construed as a wrongful termination suit. You could make some money on that if they fired you. If they didn't fire you, and you just quit, don't worry about that suggestion.

Weird things happen when you're pregnant, and not having emotional support can make it that much worse. I sincerely hope that you nail the father of this child to the wall for child support. If he doesn't pay, he'll go to jail.

Talk to your doctor. It's probably nothing, but you can never be too sure.

You need to de-stress! I'm sorry for all those complications. I have had 1 belly cramp that was so bad I cried- but it ended up being normal, partly because it never happened again. You should probably go to the doc again, or at least call. There is usually a 24 hour help line that can help.

Is your baby moving normally? I think you should have your OB paged & see what a actual doctor tells you. Stress when pregnant can be a demon cause preterm labor etc, etc. Any way when my son was in distress I has similar pains however had low fetal movements. So I really think you need to call have the on call paged. It is for yours & your babies health. You can even call the labor & delivery floor at the hospital, the nurses are always happy to help with questions or concerns!

its definitely the stress you are going through. Try to spend lots of time with family and friends, they are the only ones that can help you get through this rough time in your life. Im sorry to hear this happened but you are better off without someone who doesnt want to be in your life. Just try and think positive and know that when your baby arrives you will then know what true love REALLY is and concentrate in giving all that love to your little one. Good luck and bless you and your baby
