Routines!
Every morning, when you wake up - you usually go to the bathroom; there you can do all the things you need to do for the day... bush teeth - AND of course wash your face with the kind of a good product that goes well with your skin... And use then lotion for your face! It is so important...! Even if you have oily skin.
If you prefer to take a shower in the mornings instead of the eavnings... you can also there use moisturizing shower gel, and afterwards put quickly some lotion everywhere...!
I do think that moisturizer is the main key to healthy skin; in the product list... but of course what you eat, and how much you excersize and how much time you spend outdoors in fresh air, are also main keys for your health and therefor your skin.

It depends on your skin type (oily, normal, dry), how sensitive your skin is, climate conditions (humidity, heat, cold), and other conditons your face may have (acne, rosacea, wrinkles).
My routine: (I have very oily, non-sensitive skin. I get acne, and I live in a hot/humid city.) My routine is centerd around treating my acne.
1 minute or less-
I squeez some face wash (containing benzoyl peroxide) out onto some wet paper towel and mix in some baking soda, and it turns into a face wash/exfoliator. So I kill 2 birds with one stone.
1 minute or less-
Let my face dry and apply a toner with salicylic acid.
1 minute or less-
Apply very light moisturizer to dry areas ONLY. My skin hates moisturizer.
And then I'm done. I do this twice a day.

It depends on your skin type and condition. Cleanse morning and night and always put on a moisturizer (and spf during the day). Those are two steps you should never be lazy with.

Eat well. Drink lots of water and avoid greasy/fried/junk foods. Exercise too. Take care of yourself within and it will show without. Also moisturize.

I would suggest a simple cleanser, not too harsh, and daily moisturizer with sunscreen
