There is this girl at my school named Sarah. She is not really my friend, but I CAN'T GET RID OF HER!!! She just keeps following me...THINKING she's my friend. She's not. She is just some person who keeps following me and she won't leave me alone. I don't like her because she talks funny, she's NOT funny at all, she does'nt get ANY jokes, and she wears the stupid pink shirt like everyday! and now she bought this even UGLIER jacket and now she wears THAT everyday! and I know I can't be seen with her. People already think that I'm a geek just because I hang with her! I don't know how exactly to say that I want her to leave me alone. and even though I know that she's not the kind of friend I want, I know that I'm the kind of friend she needs because she HAS no friends. WHAT DO I DO?????

well, you just gotta be honest...its your life. i can understand this, because in high school my group of friends had a couple of these followers. its hard, and much easier said than done, but i think you just need to tell her that you need space from her...you dont need to say "i dont like you" or something mean like this....but break it to her nicely. if shes bugging you, shes buggin you! she needs to learn to make some real friends. this may sound like im being pretty tough....but its true. her tagging around people that dont like her is not gonna benefit her in the long run. good luck. (just dont be mean! it sounds like youre not, but....i can see this situation getting really annoying and you just finally starting totally make fun of her or something.)

Maybe you should try to get to know her and find out what makes her so uncool. You could try to help her become cooler - take her clothes shopping, give her a makeover, etc. I don't know, I was in your situation when I was young and I rudely told the person in question (whose name was also Sarah, strangely enough) that I never wanted to see them again. They were crushed and they spread nasty rumors about me all over the school. Now that I'm an adult I regret being mean to them, because they had a rough life at home. But it's hard to be nice to someone who irritates you, so maybe you'll have to just start ignoring her. :) Good luck.

wow ur u have a couple of options. either tell her that u dont want her to follow u any more and possible break her heart and end the friendship. or be a good friend and stick with her even though shes weird, stupid and has no fashion sense. wut i would do is introduce another person with her so she might possibly leech on to that person instead. Or perhaps u can hang around a really mean friend that breaks her heart so it makes urself still look like the good guy.

Who cares what people think about you. You certainly shouldn't. You should try getting over yourself and give this girl a chance because she looks up to you and for whatever reason, admires you.

Sounds like petty High School drama....so glad those days are over. Just ignore her, she will get over it and find someone who doesn't seek others' approval as to who they can be "seen with."

she does not need you....all you need is yourself!! you sound very "stuck on yourself". and you judge her by what she wears, and how she talks??? the best thing you could tell her is to get lost, so she can find a real friend!!!!!!!!
