The only difference between girls and guys is their sex.
Some girls have masculine tendancies
Some boys have feminine tendancies. I'm a boy and look at my avatar.
If co-education is rare in your culture, I suggest you follow with the appropriate respect and boundaries.
Your friends are either jealous, immature, gay, or all of the above.

Hey, don't be depressed about this. Actually, alot of guys would like to be in your shoes, but are too sissy to admit it! You're an artist and you're going for it!! Good for you, and if lots of girls are in the class, good for you, too. You'll be making alot of female friends, and yes, the other guys will be jealous of you. That's why they poke fun at you, because you're surrounded by all these girls that they want!
Don't question yourself as a great guy ... my daughter is friends with this guy whose a Junior and in your situation and the girls think he's great and alot of fun and yes, the guys are jealous of him and poke fun at him, but he's got some REAL friends who stand by him. Hey, wait 'til your art is sold for mega bucks $$ and let them laugh then!!! Go for it and enjoy school! Live for yourself and be happy! P.S. If your friends seem too much to handle, then talk to the school counselor or church counselor. They'll help you see that what these "friends" say doesn't mean anything and that YOU are stronger than their words.

hi little friend,
don't get depress, dont care about wht ur classmates say, let them speak, ignore them. you know that u r not doing anything wrong or anything which is bad. So my advice is that "believe in whatever u do & let others go to hell". from now onwards whenever anybody(ur classmates) tease u, just ignore them. just try it for 2 weeks n the result will be there infront of ur eyes.
And one more thing i want to tell, that the person who doesnt understands u, are not ur friend, so dont tell that ur friends tease u, on the contrary say that ur classmates tease u.
Take care, enjoy, dont get depress & whenever u need a friend to share ur sorrows just email me.

if they insult u they r not ur real friends. have some boy friends too. this is not because of their talking, but u should have friends in ur gender to share ur problems & solve their problems. don't b depressed of what they said. b normal allways. so that u can face everthing & anything and also u have capability of solving the same. b HAPPY ALWAYS. GOOD LUCK.

Stay hanging with the girls! Those "friends" you are talking about arent your REAL friends! Good gravy! Friends wouldnt do that to you, and if you find a girl who is right for you in this group, that would be GREAT, and then your "friends" wouldnt be laughing because you are the one who isnt lonely and they are!

All of your friends are teasing you because they are not surrounded by girls and they are jealous!!!!! Stand tall and don't be embarassed by what you are doing. Trust me. You should just have a lot of fun with it and act like what they say doesn't bother you - and soon enough, it really won't bother you!

YOu need to ignore your friends and concentrate on your job. this would help you to stay focus on your assignments. Don't bother about them and be patient and friendly with your friends. Over a period of time. They will stop making fun and linking. YOu don't loose, if they link you with a girl.

Hey guy! What you are doing is perfectly normal I think. Mixing with girls freely or having friendly relationships with them is perfectly natural for boys of your age. Those who think otherwise are retarded in their thinking and are behaving unnaturally. So, just ignore them. They will stop their antics after some time.

they are all ahem! just ignore them. a better option can be talk to all your friends ( girls as well as guys). you will have to maintain a balance among them all. hang out with the guys more frequently. perhaps they are jealous.any ways i am also in 9TH standard.
