The general guideline for a baby of 3 months is 6-8 feedings daily of about 4-5 oz / 125-150 ml per feeding. Let you baby give you her cues as when she's ready to eat. My daughter was a little piggy at that age. She would eat 4 oz every 2 hours, but she would sleep through the night so it evened out. Every 3-4hours 4-6 oz, or 6-8 bottles a day. If you feel she is gettin too much or too little ask you doctor. As long as she is growing adequately and thriving she is fine. Formula fed babies do not need extra water at this age, they are getting adequate hydration from the formula. When in doubt ask the baby's doctor.

Hi there -
The ideal hourly rate is 4 hourly and she should be taking at least 5-6 bottles a day. This is what is expected for a normal healthy baby.
But if you are concerned you should ask your local clinic sister or speak to your Dr.
You should also remember that as Summer is coming it is also important to give her small amount of water in between feeds as well so that she doesn't dehydrate.

My baby usually had a bottle about once every 3-4 hours. If your baby is eating more than that you might wanna either start giving her more or talking to the doctor about giving her some baby cereal or baby food

Every three to four hours she should be consuming at least four ounces of formula. If her appetite is more than this you can start her on cereal, limit this to two ounces twice a day, usually at noon before a nap and at night before putting her to bed. Because sometimes infants develop faster than usual and require thicker sustenance for the formula is just not enough to satisfy completely.

I dont believe in the whole puttin a baby on a schedule. I fed on demand and my child is NOT over weight. So if she is/was on a schedule, put her back on it and up the ounces that she eats. If she is fed on demand, just let her be. If she still acts hungry, ask ur pedi about starting on rice cereal> Hope this helps a little.
