Sometimes, I feel like I would. Of course, you answer to this question is heavily dependent on your personal definition of intelliegence. To me, intelligence means the ability to learn new things and apply both new and old knowledge to solve problems. I like being intelligent, but sometimes I feel like I could be happier if I could just go with the flow and be less aware of my own ignorance, which catalyzes the desire to learn. How do you think and feel about this issue? Does ignorance and the abscence of doubt really equal bliss?

In a certain way, yes, I can see more ignorant people being happier. For instance, I have a friend who is, to put it bluntly, not that well-learned. It's just a fact. Without bragging whatsoever, I'm quite intelligent. Now, sometimes, when I'm worrying about what people are thinking, feeling and such, especially if I've done something impact, she wonders why I am so hung up about these things. This leads me to believe that she just doesn't understand the complexity of the human race, human psychology as I do. She, and others, don't analyze human emotions, reactions, expressions like I do. So that ultimately leads me to the conclusion, that yes, the less-intelligent are happier. They don't over-analyze, over-think, obsess over little details with social problems. They just live and let live. And sometimes in life, that ends up making you happier then trying to figure out every small piece of information.

I don't think so. You have pointed out that intelligence means being able to learn new things, and to solve problems, so if I am not as intelligent, I would be stuck with many unsolved problems. Not being able to learn new things is also a huge disadvantage in this competitive world. I really don't think an average person in the flow should necessarily be happier. I know for a fact that people really admire intelligent people, even though most of them might not agree with everything you say because they don't have the vision you have, but deep in their heart a lot of these people just wish they could have your brain.

I think intelligence and creativity often go hand in hand, and those who are very creative people often judge themselves by very high standards, and find themselves short of their goals.

Creative people tend to be less happy because they are so often perfectionists.

"Ignorance is bliss". It is tempting, and Life would be easier, but not necessarily happier and definitely not as meaningful.
