Shipping by railroad is a bit of a pain. Unless you are getting an entire railroad car you will need to use a rail broker. What you can do to ship four vehicle is just contact different auto transport companies and call them to get rates on shipping four vehicles.

The best site to find an auto transporter would be http://www.transportreviews.com/. Just call a half a dozen companies and let them know you are shipping four vehicles and they will provide you with a pretty hefty discount over the single car price.

The source link below will give you an idea of prices for single cars moving from NY to TX.

Good luck!

Just an idea.....Talk to some small used car dealers...they might no of some small auto transport companys that would do it for you cheaper (and faster) than a train would......

.....or google the phrase "coast to coast car transport"...I did and came up with a lot of different companys that would do that 4U
