Yes. As a girl, I can tell you that girl screams are annoying. I try not to do that. It's not that hard not to. Which leads me to the conclusion that they do it cuz they think it's cute.
Its not.

I'm not sure if you mean that their screams are irritating or that they are emotionally painful (sad) to hear.
Assuming that you mean the second one, I will say that there have always been two particular sounds that break my heart - the sound of a woman weeping in grief and the sound of a man screaming in pain. Those sounds are unbearable to me.

yes! High pitched voice, that will split your friggen ear drums will wanna make any one cringe...like raking finger nails down a chalk board.
